I believe the Coromandel is a remarkable place for honouring life's special celebrations. I am a passionate cake artist and love creating bespoke cakes from my registered home kitchen. A home baked, delicious and artfully decorated cake is another wonderful way to include everyone in your special day and they are a terrific talking point! Cakes will be created to your specific requirements to get the exact look and flavours you desire. I am happy to liaise with your florist, wedding planner and venue. Every cake creation is quoted individually to cater to your specific requirements. I operate under a Food Control plan from my small registered home studio/kitchen in Whangamata. Creating something beautiful and delicious is what I live for. Weddings are super special to me, I love LOVE and you can guarantee there’s so much love poured into every cake that leaves my kitchen. I’m known to live life on the edge and I’m open to delivering your masterpiece anywhere on the Coromandel, nothing like a suspenseful albeit slow drive up some of those windy roads with a 2-4 tier cake on board. Each wedding cake is unique, using the finest quality of ingredients. I love to offer different, interesting flavours that are delicious, as I believe a cake should taste even better than it looks. My cakes are iced and decorated using flavourful buttercreams, fresh flowers, foliage, freeze dried berries, home made coulis, caramels and curds to make each cake look natural, unique and beautiful. This is a style I am passionate about therefore I don’t use fondant. I bake and decorate each cake from my registered home kitchen in Thames, meaning it’s easy for a trusted guest to pick up the cake on there way to your wedding location.
